Szablis has worked in the financial services industry for over 17 years. She began her career in the industry at Offerman & Company, a broker/dealer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Here, she received extensive training, passed multiple industry registration and licensure examinations, and gained a deep understanding of what happens behind the scenes after the advisor and client have determined a course of action.
Promoted quickly into management, she began working more closely to develop and refine the practices of advisors in bank branches and in independent offices. Szablis worked directly with the abandoned client accounts when advisors left the firm. It was through this work directly interfacing with clients that Szablis quickly developed a passion for helping individuals understand the impact their financial decisions have on the quality of their lives.
Szablis accepted a position as Senior Vice President and Director at a large, respected bank’s investment headquarters based in St. Paul, Minnesota. Here she worked to further develop and improve the advice, products and service experiences of the bank’s investment customers. This position had its’ own unique perks and challenges, but it remained evident to her that advisors experienced a nagging inability to truly serve clients' best interests at a personal level while also beholden to the institution's interests and prescribed products.
She discovered that individuals desired honest answers, personal attention, and access to educational resources to help them feel informed and more in control. It appeared that there was a disconnect between what larger institutions were asking their representatives to do with clients, and what the clients wanted those representatives to do for them. She determined there was an opportunity to make a real difference and provide a unique and meaningful service to individuals and families as an independent advisor. Many of the core principles and practices upon which Full Circle Financial is founded have their roots in these experiences and observations from the beginning of her career.
In 2005, she established a private, independent practice and in 2008 formed Full Circle Financial, and along the way joined forces with other financial planners who approach their practices with a focus on the client's best interest ahead of all else. Over time, the practice has grown to include multi-disciplinary specialists and now includes offices across the Midwest, with clients all over the country. Now, more than ever, people need help navigating the risks and rewards of growing and protecting their wealth. Clear communication, a conversational, plain-English style of education, and genuine concern for the comfort and care of her clients are hallmarks of her practice. Szablis finds great satisfaction in her work striving to provide this experience to her valued clients.
Szablis is registered with ProEquities, Inc., a nationally recognized securities broker/dealer who is registered with Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the Securities Investor Protection Corporation. She is registered to practice in multiple states. Szablis is an Investment Advisor Representative, Registered Securities Principal, and General Securities Registered Representative, She is also licensed by the State of Minnesota as a Life, Accident and Health Insurance Agent.
Szablis lives in Rochester Minnesota with her husband, Dr. Eric Klee, and their three children ages 21, 10, and 7. In her personal time, she enjoys creating things for others to enjoy and attending her children's activities including swim meets, art shows, and Taekwondo challenges. Hobbies include cooking, entertaining, art, interior design and space improvement projects, as well as reading, playing strategy board games with a house full of friends and food, and gardening.
